Cookies versus local storage
A cookie is a small piece of data that the browser attaches to every request it makes to the site that set it. That is what makes cookies useful for servers and also what makes them a privacy consideration.
Local storage is different. It is a key-value store held in the browser, it is never attached to network requests, and a server cannot read it unless the page explicitly sends it. Archery Arcade uses local storage and never sends it anywhere.
What the site stores
Four things, all under keys beginning with 'aa:': your favourite games, your recently played list, your best score in each game, and your sound preference.
None of it identifies you. None of it is shared between devices. All of it is removable by clearing site data in your browser.
Third-party cookies
At the time of writing there are none, because no advertising network, analytics provider, embedded video, social widget or font service is loaded on any page. Every asset the site uses is served from the site itself.
If an advertising network is connected in future it would set its own cookies under its own policy. This page and the Privacy Policy would be updated to name that provider before any such code went live, along with a consent mechanism where one is required.
Managing storage
Clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings removes everything Archery Arcade has stored. The favourites and recently-played pages also provide explicit clear buttons.
Blocking site data entirely is fine - the games all work, they simply cannot remember your scores between visits.
