What we store, and where
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember four things: which games you have marked as favourites, which games you have recently played, your best scores in each game, and your sound preference.
All of it is stored under keys beginning with 'aa:' in the local storage of the browser you are using. It stays on your device. It is not transmitted to any server, it is not shared between your devices, and it is not visible to us or to anyone else.
If your browser blocks site data, or you are in a private window, the site still works - it simply cannot remember anything between visits.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, account information or payment details, because there is no mechanism on the site that could.
There is no analytics provider connected at the time of writing. No page-view tracking, no heatmaps, no session recording and no cross-site identifiers.
There is no advertising network connected at the time of writing. The site reserves clearly labelled positions where advertising may appear in future, but no ad code is loaded and no advertising cookies are set.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. The browser storage described above is local storage rather than cookies, which means it is never attached to network requests and never sent to a server.
The Cookie Policy explains the distinction in more detail.
If advertising or analytics is added later
Should an advertising network such as Google AdSense or an analytics provider be connected in future, that third party would be able to set its own cookies and collect its own data under its own privacy policy, and this page would be updated to name the provider and link to that policy before any such code went live.
Where advertising personalisation and consent requirements apply, an appropriate consent mechanism would be added at the same time. Nothing of that kind is present today.
Your control over stored data
You can remove everything this site has stored at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings. That deletes your favourites, recently played list, best scores and preferences.
The favourites and recently-played pages also offer explicit clear buttons for the data they display.
Children
The games on this site are suitable for a general audience and contain no graphic content. Because the site collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
External links
The site links only to its own pages. Where an external link is added in future, it will be clearly identifiable, and the privacy practices of any site you visit through such a link are governed by that site rather than this one.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the last-updated date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes - in particular the introduction of any third-party code - will be made before the corresponding code goes live rather than afterwards.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@archeryarcade.xyz, or through the contact page.
This removes your favourites, recently played list, best scores and preferences from this browser. It cannot be undone.
