Two players can hit the same number of targets and finish hundreds of points apart. Understanding exactly how points are awarded is the cheapest improvement available - it costs no practice at all, only reading.
Ring band scoring
The most common system. The target face is divided into concentric bands, each worth a fixed value regardless of where in the band you land. On the standard face used across most of Archery Arcade, that is 100 for the gold centre, 50 for the red inner ring, 25 for the green mid ring and 10 for the dark outer band.
The practical implication of fixed bands is that there is no benefit to being marginally closer to the centre within a band. An arrow at the inner edge of the red scores exactly the same as one at its outer edge.
The precision face
A few games use a tighter face where the gold is only twelve per cent of the radius and worth 250, with 90, 35 and 10 for the bands outside it. That is a 25:1 ratio between centre and edge, against 10:1 on the standard face.
This changes strategy substantially. On the standard face, safe outer hits are worth taking. On the precision face they are nearly worthless, and the game actively rewards attempting the harder shot.

Continuous and size-scaled scoring
Moving Bullseye scores continuously by exact distance from centre, so two hits described as 'in the gold' can score noticeably differently. Speed Archer scales points by how large the target still was at the moment of impact.
Both systems reward committing early or aiming truly rather than merely landing inside a band, and both make the accuracy statistics in the results screen genuinely meaningful.
Combo multipliers
Most games raise a multiplier as you land consecutive hits - typically one step every three hits, up to a ceiling of eight. Every point scored is multiplied by it, and a miss usually resets it.
Because the multiplier applies to everything, its value compounds. A run of eight ordinary hits at a rising multiplier substantially outscores four perfect centre hits with misses in between. Protecting a multiplier is very often the highest-value decision available.
Bonus targets and penalties
Golden and bonus targets typically pay three to four times a standard hit, usually with a timer attached so the opportunity is short. Hazard targets, which appear in the later levels of Ultimate Archery Arcade, deduct points and break the multiplier.
Bonuses feed the multiplier like any other hit, which is why keeping a steady rhythm on ordinary targets so the multiplier is already high when a bonus appears produces the largest totals.
What is not scored
Archery Arcade does not have global leaderboards, ratings or player counts, and nothing on the site claims otherwise. Best scores are stored in your own browser's local storage and never leave your device.
That means the only score you are ever compared with is your own previous one, which is displayed alongside your result at the end of every run.
Key takeaways
- Standard face: 100 / 50 / 25 / 10. Precision face: 250 / 90 / 35 / 10.
- Within a band, position does not matter - except in the continuous and size-scaled games.
- The combo multiplier compounds and is usually worth more than any single shot.
- Bonus targets pay 3-4x but carry short timers; hazards deduct and break combos.
- All scores are local to your browser. There are no global rankings anywhere on this site.
Frequently asked questions
How many points is a bullseye worth?
100 on the standard face, or 250 on the tighter precision face used by Precision Archer and Impossible Bullseye - before any multiplier.
Does hitting closer to the centre of a band score more?
Not on ring-band faces. It does in Moving Bullseye, which scores continuously by distance, and in Speed Archer, which scales by remaining target size.
How high does the combo multiplier go?
Up to eight in most games. Bullseye Combo has no hard cap but limits the streak in practice by shrinking the target.
Are there global high score tables?
No. Every score is stored in your own browser and never transmitted. The site has no accounts, no rankings and no player statistics.
