About Archery Timer
Time as currency
An outer ring hit returns about half a second. An inner hit returns one. A centre hit returns a full two seconds. Because the clock runs down continuously, that turns every shot into a small economic decision: is the extra half second you would spend lining up a centre hit worth the extra one and a half you would earn?
Early on the answer is almost always yes. Once the spawn rate climbs and targets start expiring on their own, the calculation flips and volume beats precision.
The break-even point
Somewhere around the ninety second mark most players hit a wall. The targets are small enough and quick enough that the average time returned per shot falls below the time each shot costs, and the clock starts dropping no matter how well you play.
That wall is the real score. Reaching it is a matter of skill; pushing it back by ten seconds is a matter of good decisions about which targets to take.
Why the combo matters here
The combo multiplier applies to points but not to time. That is a deliberate split: your score and your survival are two different resources, and they do not always pull in the same direction.
A high combo is worth protecting when you have time in hand. When the clock is under five seconds, take whatever is nearest and forget the multiplier.
How to play
- Click or tap targets as they appear.
- Every hit adds time to the clock - centre hits add the most.
- Targets expire on their own if you leave them.
- The spawn rate and target size get harder as the run continues.
- The run ends when the clock reaches zero.

Scoring
Points are awarded by which band of the target you hit, multiplied by your combo multiplier where the game uses one.
Tips
- Take centre hits while the game is slow - the time they return compounds across the whole run.
- When the clock drops under five seconds, stop aiming for the gold and just hit something.
- Targets near the edges cost more cursor travel. Take the middle of the field first.
- The multiplier does not buy time. Do not protect it when the clock is critical.
- Two quick outer hits usually beat one slow centre hit once the spawn rate is high.
Common mistakes
- Aiming for perfect centre hits when the clock is nearly out.
- Letting easy targets expire while lining up a harder one.
- Forgetting that the clock keeps running while you decide.
- Panicking at low time and clicking empty space, which returns nothing at all.
