About Perfect Shot
The sway is a pattern, not noise
The reticle's drift is built from two overlapping oscillations at different speeds. That means it is not random - it repeats, it has a rhythm, and it slows noticeably at the extremes of its travel before it turns back.
Players who treat the movement as chaos end up mashing the button. Players who watch two or three full cycles before their first shot tend to open with a five hit streak.
A target that punishes success
Land in the gold and the target shrinks by roughly eight per cent. Land outside it and the target stays the same size but your streak resets to zero.
After a run of ten centre hits the gold is genuinely small - smaller than the reticle's own drift amplitude - and the only way through is to time the pause at the end of the sway rather than trying to catch it mid-sweep.
Streak scoring
Points are awarded per ring as usual, but the streak counter is where the score really lives. Each consecutive gold hit adds to a streak bonus that grows faster than linearly, so a single ten hit streak outscores twenty scattered hits comfortably.
You get twenty presses. Spending three of them just watching the pattern is almost always worth it.
How to play
- Watch the reticle drift across the target.
- Click, tap, or press Space when it is over the gold centre.
- Each centre hit shrinks the target and extends your streak.
- Anything outside the gold resets the streak but keeps your score.
- The run ends after twenty shots.

Scoring
Points are awarded by which band of the target you hit, multiplied by your combo multiplier where the game uses one.
Tips
- Spend your first two shots learning the rhythm rather than trying to score.
- The reticle is slowest at the ends of its travel - that is your window.
- Press slightly early. There is a small delay between your input and the release.
- When the gold gets very small, aim for the moment the reticle changes direction over it.
- A broken streak is not a failed run. Rebuild it rather than forcing a low percentage shot.
Common mistakes
- Firing as fast as the game allows and hoping.
- Trying to hit a moving reticle mid-sweep when a turn is two-tenths of a second away.
- Panicking after a reset and immediately taking a worse shot.
- Forgetting that the outer rings still score - a deliberate safe hit is sometimes right.
